Caring Hands United is part of the VA’s community of network providers offering home health services to veterans and their families. We currently provide personal support and respite services through the VA MISSION Act of 2018. We also accept TRICARE and other insurance options. Call us today for more information!

Home care services with assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) can benefit veterans in a number of ways, including:

Activity of Daily Living (ADLs) Examples

Personal care: This includes bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Mobility assistance: This includes help with getting in and out of bed, walking, and using stairs.
Meal preparation and cleanup: This includes planning, shopping for, cooking, and serving meals, as well as cleaning up afterwards.
Medication management: This includes reminding veterans to take their medications on time and in the correct dosage.
Housekeeping: This includes tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors.

How To Start VA Services

Get in touch with your VA social worker to discuss eligibility for home care services. If you are eligible for services, request to be matched with Caring Hands United Inc for home care services. All enrolled Veterans are eligible for Homemaker / Home Health Aide Care IF they are eligible for community care and meet the clinical criteria for the service and it is available.

Please Note: A copay (payable to the VA) for Homemaker and Home Health Aide services may be charged based on your VA service-connected disability status.
